Is the Writers and Artists yearbook really that different every year?

So for example would the 2020 edition be drastically different from the 2025 edition? Or would the 2025 edition be really any different from the 2024 edition?

And for those who have actually read through any versions of it have you found it useful in any way?

If you're new to querying, it has some useful advice, and it's quite good for making a list of agents etc. But you should then check their websites anyway, to make sure they are open and see if they have updated their requirements, so in that respect it doesn't matter if it's an old edition. Where you miss out with an old edition is that new agencies won't be listed.

But have you checked if your county library service has the most most recent edition? I've borrowed one from mine a couple of times.

Hi an older edition should still be useful but as HB says, libraries usually stick one
