As an artist I pick up canvases in charity shops to reuse. If the paint is thin acrylic I can gesso over them and they work fine.
Anyway I picked up this painting for 50p and when I got it home I thought. Actually I really like this, (your mileage may vary) I can't paint over it!
So I hung it on the bathroom wall.
A great 50 pence worth

I'm not a big fan of abstract art, but some of them just work for me (and I have absolutely no idea why).

Over the tub like that the steam will eventually take care of the problem for you.

I think that it should be hung vertical and it's part of a triptych.

When you find the other two they will cost more than a bananana w/ duct tape.

The artist clearly is a maverick! Typical qualities of geometric abstract art include crisp lines, clean geometry, and clear pure colors.
This artist rejected convention! Threw all that out and simply went eyes closed.

It's quite a big room so doesn't tend to steam up.
