Original year of publication/airing, or at least when you read this work?: I read it probably circa 1990 - was from new Author (to me). Seemed like a new publishing from that year. Bought it new at a a Walmart if that helps with determining popularity.
Major themes / Plot (as much as you can remember): Magic, Good vs. Evil, Holy Knights, Duty, Prophecy
Setting: Fantasy - Medium magic (magic was possibly uncommon and felt special)
Characters (names, descriptions): A deity I think was named Pallas and a (possibly holy) knight
The language you read or heard the story in: English
Target audience/age group: I would say Maybe Young Adult or Adult Fantasy
