M. R. Forbes
M. R. Forbes is a mysterious American author of science fiction and fantasy novels. He is possibly married and lives in the Pacific Northwest.
He first began self-publishing his work and most of his work was first available as eBooks. The eBooks Balance (2013), Betrayal (2013) and Broken (2013) were the first of his The Devine series.
Since then, he has been a prolific writer of all kinds of pulpy SFF including science fiction, fantasy, space opera, urban fantasy and post-apocalyptic fiction, with several titles appearing every year, so much so, that some have suggested he is a co-authored pseudonym of collaborating authors.
His very popular work is written within many series including the Rebellion series, beginning with Man of War (2016); the War Eternal series, beginning with Starship Eternal (2015); The Chaos of the Covenant universe, beginning with Hell’s Rejects (2017); the Stars End series, beginning with Star Fire (2019); and The Starship for Sale books, beginning with Starships for Sale (2022.
He is best known for his Forgotten novels, beginning with Forgotten (2017) concerning a generational ship that malfunctions.
