Hard and Humorous Sci Fi?

My humorous SF novel, Blurred Vision, might fit the bill. I had a good laugh writing it! (It also explains UFOs, the universe and everything)

You can read the opening chapters free on Amazon if interested.

Spider Robinson's Callahan's Crosstime Saloon the puns are legendary follow with “The Time-Traveler” However, it's not "hard Sf" but you'll soon forgive it for that.
Yes! I read the Crosstime Saloon about a month ago. Enjoyed that! Spider was a bit of a Heinlein protege too - and finished Variable Star, from Heinlein notes. So that's a plus. I'll put "The Time Traveler" on my list. Just started the first Bobiverse book about an hour ago. That'll keep be busy for 3 or 4 days.

Some other old ones
Tales from the White Hart Arthur C. Clarke
The Draco Tavern by Larry Niven
The Number of the Beast by Robert A. Heinlein
The Stainless Steel Rat series by Harry Harrison
Roadmarks by Roger Zelazny

mmmmmmmmm I seem to have hung out in a lot of bars back in the day ;)

Hmmm... Arthur C. Clarke humorous? Now I'll have to read that one!
Read the middle 3 but will definitely check out the Zelazny piece. I've never read anything by him.

Ok... replying to myself here. Uhhh, anyway I seem to be getting hooked on the Bobiverse books... as silly as I think the titles are, they are definitely (at least) moderately hard science fiction, very funny, well plotted, well written -- and they've got some great tie-ins to a lot of classic Sci-fi. (Just about done with #2 "For We are Many." ) For those who need some humor, Dennis Taylor does a good job.
