Brian McClellan

Brian McClellan is an American author of epic fantasy.
He began writing short stories and novellas at a very early age publishing them online, starting with The Wheel of Time website.
His first professionally published work was Duck Hunt (2007) in Leading Edge.
McClellan published his first book, Promise of Blood, in 2013. This was the first of his Power Mage series, concluded with The Crimson Campaign (2014) and The Autumn Republic (2015). 11 novellas and short stories set in the Powder Mage world have also been released.
His second trilogy, Gods of Blood and Powder, consists of Sins of Empire (2017), Wrath of Empire (2018) and Blood of Empire (2019).
His latest series of novels is the Glass Immortals, beginning with In the Shadow of Lightning (2022). His latest work is the novella, Montego (2023) set with that series.
His work has focused almost exclusively on fantasy. One notable exception is War Cry (2018) which blends military SF with military fantasy.
