Has anyone else seen this film yet?
I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

It's a bit fragmented because it's effectively 3 books told as one, but I thought the storylines meshed together quite well and the various supporting actors did very well. I particularly liked Timothy Spall's performance.

I may have to go out & buy the books now - I'll probably have to lie & say they're for my kids or something.... :D

I saw this the other weekend and I did buy it but only cause I got a nice discount its true what they say its not what you know its who you know.

I liked it found it amusing in places and have infact watched it again since.

I have never been overly keen on Jim Carey he has been annoying in a couple of things but he was great in this.

I've see the movie, took the kids when it came out in theaters. The movie is very entertaining for kids. Stays true to the characters all the way. There are some differences but it is to be expected. Jim Carey does an awesome job, and I'm not a fan of his. I actually read the books after learning he was playing the role and imagined him as the Count, have to say, the reading was much better because of it.
I didn't realize that the movie was out on DVD already, will have to check it out.

Picked up the books when I heard a movie was going to be released. The books were really enjoyable and the movie, even though it was a condenssed version of the books, was also quite good.
