I am cleaning my bookshelf off today(don't have room for any more books). I have books 1-30 of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. They're easy read, good reads, but they take up a lot of space. I don't know what I should do. Should I sell them in the yearly Library booksale, just give them to the library, or keep them. I would like to hear nyone's opinion on the matter.

PS If I do keep them, they are going in my closet along with my Animorphs books.

hahaha... dilemma of the year...

if you still enjoy reading them, and they bring you pleasure and you want to share with friends, then keep them!!!

I've NEVER gotten rid of any of my books or comics!!!

Ohhhh, that's a tough one, isn't it? I never like getting rid of good books, but at the same time I'm always running out of shelf and closet space for them. :)

My rule of thumb is, if I haven't re-read any of the books in a series for more than a year or two, and picking them up doesn't spark an immediate desire to sit down and immerse myself again, I donate them to the local library. That's my compromise option, as more than once I've gone there to borrow a book I donated years before... but I will never sell a book. If someone else has it, how can I get to read it again?

Never mind that over half of my collection I got at used book sales... ;)

I decided to donate them to the library. They will be happy, they could use some more YA books. Though I don't know how they are going to react to 30 of them. Makes more work for the people doing the cards (the library still uses a card catalog).

The books will be happy, the library will be happy and the patrons will also be happy. A win-win-win situation.Like adjecon, I find myself borrowing my own books every once in a while!

which library? my daughter loves those, has three of them, but our local library doesn't have any. if its one in the UK i can order them for her;)
anything to get her off those horrible jacqueline wilson things. shudder. they give her nightmares and make her cry, but she reads them religiously:confused:
