I'd like to announce that my book has a title. It's clever, witty and very very good. it's taken me a long time to come up with one, but I feel that a new dimension has been added, now i have something to work up to.

Congratulations. Does your book have a first paragraph too? (Sorry, Princess!) Seriously, do we get to hear this marvel of creativity, or are you going to keep us all in suspenders?
 
It's even better today than it was last night!
and yes Mark, I've got the entire thing drafted out. At the moment i'm adding flesh to the bones. My next job will be to add features to the flesh, then it goes to Chris for, hopefully final editing and re-writes, and he'll probably tell me to ditch the title anyway, but i'm so happy and excited right now i could burst.:D
*huge sigh of contentment*
 
finding a title may be hard sometimes, but once you get one right, everything will be easier. Even finding a second one if Chris don't like this one.

Now you got me intrigued and impatient to read your book, Princess.
 
Congratulations indeed then! That's great news, Princess. (I think you already said that - note to self: must try not to make fool of myself by repeating the obvious.)

You never did tell me how you got on with your short story submissions. Did any of those get picked up?

yep, all completely re-written of course;)
And Mark, I got two no's and a definate maybe:D hehe, so waiting for them to have a break in which to publish it (hopefully soon!)
 
I don't know Princess Ivy, "NUQ DAQ YUJ DA'POL - NOOKH DAHKH YUJE DAH'POLE" is kind of an obscure title, unless one speaks Klingon, and I'm not so sure they're big readers.

Seriously, congrats and best of luck to you! Keep us posted on your progress. :)
 
I always loved that sig, and meant to ask...is that REALLY Klingon for where's the chocolate?
 
Thanks babe. I'm not posting the title, cause it's not a sci-fi or fantasy subject. I don't want to know if anyone here reads it. i don't care if the world hates my stuff, but if people who know me do, shudder, i'd rather not:D
But with the book being written in klingon (i'm going for the offworld market here), it'd be very odd to have a title in english...

i darn well hope so, or i'll be stuck in space with no chocolate and no hope of getting any:D
but it's out of the official startrek klingon online dictionary (yes there really is such a thing);)
 
I knew there was a dictionary. That's cool, I want one. That says something dirty. (not for here of course)
