ok question about mystique

whats the deal with her and nightcrawler??? is she or isn't she??? (hopefully, someone out there knows wot im on aboot! )

Supposedly she's Nightcrawler's mother (feel free to jump in with more info, Leto )
I don't think the comics ever revealed the identity of the father - although, at the same time Rogue is supposed to be Mystique's child too, which would make her & Nightcrawler brother & sister.
That's about as much as I ever read about, maybe others know more.

EDIT: Oh, and Mystique's real name was Raven Darkholme I think. She's English in the original comics as far as I can remember.

Never heard about her possibly being rogues mother though! has that been confirmed? Whats the story behind that? how did that come out. Please share your knowledge with me

I think I remember from the X-Men cartoon that Mystique is Rogue's mother. But, I don't know if the cartoon is accurate to the X-Men canon.

Mystique (Raven Darkholme) is NightCrawler (Kurt Wagner)'s and Graydon Creed's biological mother (the latter with Sabretooth). She's just foster mother to Rogue, which she breed with her longtime lover Destiny (Irene Adler), now dead.
At first, when Mystique and Nightcrawler were introduced, Chris Claremont wanted Mystique to be his biological father (the joy of being metamorph) and Destiny to be her father.
