Different Harry Potter editions??

The Adult Version has a more non-descript "mature" cover for big folks who are embarrassed to be seen reading it on the bus ;) I don't think the text is any different though.

There's no extra gore in the adult version, it's just like Ash says...

Personally, I've never been embarrased by my book covers, ever since my first Discworld novel on which the cover art features Josh Kirby's wild colours and buxom, scantily clad young ladies keeping company with gnarly old men and four eyed tourists...:D Harry Potter's nothing on that...

lmao when reading the books on the bus.. u always get people (mainly older people) coming up to ya and start talking about HP :D

The adult covers are more suitable for adult bookshelves, too. If all your books have 'serious' covers, you wouldn't want the colourful HP books amongst them - just doesn't look too good.

I love the adult covers, they're so pretty and well done. That said, I like the kiddie covers too, and wouldn't be ashamed to be seen reading them on the train!
