Anyone here going to join in on Martin's Scavenger Hunt. THe grand prize is pretty cool a book and a signed book plate and some of the AgoT games. When you sign up you get put into one of the King's camps I got the King of the Narrow Sea. The link to the scavenger hunt is right under Martin's picture on his webpage www.georgerrmartin.com I don't know how long it's been up but I just noticved it today.
 
The link is actually in the "News" section boys & girls.
And it's only open to residents of the US & Canada aged 18yrs or over
*sigh* :(

Sorry but I've just been a little bitter that those of you in the UK get to read the book first. That means that not only do I have to wait longer to read it- I can't come on this board during those weeks either. Then what am I supposed to do for my GRRM kicks?
 
That doesn't mean you can't play just that if you win you give them my name instead. :D

And I have King of the Trident. Looks like we are all in different camps. May as well get your kneeling knees ready!!!
 
Well I've made up some fake American address (in Louieville, Louisana in case you're interested! ;) ) & email address so I'm good to go!
I can't/probably won't win, but the fun's in the game, right? :)

Oh, and King of the Narrow Sea for me so beware - this iron islander's out for some salt wives! :D

EDIT: Melissandre's my sworn sword as well......anyone missing a shadow..? :p

Wow, that ought to make for a very surprised recipient of the first place prize in Louieville, Louisiana!:p But at least you'll know that you won... right?

Yeah no Salt Wives for us WS but from what I hear Melissandre throws a pretty wild bonfire.
 
I signed up a week ago and I haven't gotten any e-mail or website notice about what's going on yet either, and its supposed to start today.
