Simple question.

Mine would be the Red Viper. He is everything that I want to be. Very sure in his abilities, master of posions, very out spoken, and he is the type of person to kill now and ask questions later. He spiced things up in Kings Landing and made the ending of A Storm of Swords a page turner for me.

Without doubt Littlefinger, IMHO the second or third most interesting character in the entire series.

A wonderful role model.

I'm with Ainulindale on this one... Littlefinger... though I am intrigued also by Jorah, Mance, Asha, Kevan, and Olenna.

Same here.:)

He could have a nice big side-story.(as well as many others actually...)
How he turned into King-beyond-the-Wall, his life at the Night's Watch, etc, etc...

By the way, does it sat somewhere which was his role at the Night's Watch?
Stable boy perhaps?:D

SotM - you want to be a master of poisons?

Well sure, why not. I'd would think that would add a certain "don't mess with me" attidude. Mind you when I was little I was picked on a regular bases due to the fact my parents were immagrants to the United States. So mater of poisons would have shut a few mouths up when I was younger.

Remind me never to eat at your place, Sword....

So many, I don't think I can chose just one. The Halfhand, Pyp and Grenn, Dolorous Edd, Jeor Mormont, Maester Aemon, Dacey Mormont, the Umbers Small and Great, Garlan Tyrell, Ser Rodrik and Jory, the Blackfish, Ser Barristan, the Hound... Shall I go on? The Reeds are probably close to the top, though, if I were pressed to name one (well, two...).

It's gotta be Hodor! ;) I reckon he's got a rain man thing going on there. I seriously think that dudes brain works on a different level to everyone elses. Soon as they find out he'll work out some formua for destroying the other's, and be crowned king as a reward. maybe :)

/me tries to invisage how knowing the number of toothpicks in a box will save the seven kingdoms

:D

On a more serious note, I'd rather not have Littlefingers POV tbh, at least not until the very end. I like the way you never know what he's thinking, planning. Being in the dark about his motives and actions is what makes him so intriguing.

Too right, though I love the character. Same for Varys, Howland, and Barristan Selmy.

As for non-pov favourites, Meera:cool: . Anyone else thinking future love interest? Bran will be 14 the next time we see him, remember.

Did we all forget about our favorite uncle?
Benjen Stark, where are you? Now that guy's got a freaking story that will fill in the gaps and answer the big snow demon winter questions. He shows up 3 years later...

"Dude, so like we're in the woods, like way up in the woods, seriously man, like so far it was just crazy how far North we went cuz we thought we were lost but then we weren't lost, and then, see, this guy he just shows up and he's all like crazy looking cuz he's riding this giant elk. Seriously, a giant elk, man, I couldn't make that up..."

I read a spoiler chapter online that said Benjen has been locked in a life and death struggle with the "Giant Psycho Chicken of the Yukon"....I of course didnt buy it....they dont have canadians in Westeros....

Terry Goodkind already had a giant psycho devil chicken in one of his Sword of Truth books.

Seriously.

Sounds like plagarism.
