Just trying to see if anyone else has read the book? Here's a little description;
Louisiana, 2065. A lot has changed in the 43rd year of the Kurian Order. Possessed of an unnatural hunger, the bloodthirsty Reapers have come to Earth to establish a New Order built on the harvesting of human souls. They rule the planet. And if it is night, as sure as darkness, they will come.

But on this pitiless world, the indomitable spirit of man still breathes in Lieutenant David Valentine. And his mission is to win back Earth...

It can best be described as science fiction, although a large chunk of it is also devoted to "fantasy" and "romance".

It's a brilliant story. The plot is very good, and there are moments where you can feel your flesh crawl. It might not be for people with a soft heart. Near the end of the book, you start to recognize more adult themes come in to play (not saying that they don't make their way in the beginning ;) ). The only problem I could see with it is if you only enjoy space oprah's or if you're looking for a complex read.

I'm hoping to buy Choice of the Cat and all the rest of the books to finish up this story.
