Heard great things about this movie - seems to be something of a cult classic.

Anyone have anything to say on it, though? For example, how accessible is it?

Suspiria is something of an acquired taste. In terms of plot, dialog, plausibility, emotional depth, quality of acting...it sucks irredeemably on all those counts. The story is ********, the characters are cardboard and the actors are all wooden. Dubbed dialog adds dollops of unintentional hilarity.

But it's an engaging technical exercise, every scene a smorgasbord of strikingly colored visuals (emphasis on strong primary hues) backed by a brilliant prog-rockish score.

We might be discussing this movie next month.

Is this the one about witches? I saw it a few times some years ago, mainly becuase it was by the same director that did Creepers starring Jennifer Connelly. The plot isn't much but the music was great, that was the main thing for me. If you liked this movie, I suggest seeing Creepers as well, the plot is a little bit different, a girl that can talk to insects, but the music was brilliant & included the likes of Iron Maiden.
