I found this link the other day which lists quite a few fantasy novelists for YA and thought it may be useful for this forum and provide some interesting reading for members.

A lot of good YA authors mentioned there, like Kevin Crossley-Holland, Peter Dickinson, Brian Jacques, Robin Jarvis etc.

Intresting: again no mention of the classics Heinlein, Norton etc. a common trend these days ?

On second reading - scratch Heinlein, this is fantasy list

UM..possibly but I don't think it's necessarily a definite trend. Don't forget this is just one site I came across, so I'm sure there are others that mention Andre Norton etc....
