So, have any of you read anything by this author? I read Armageddon Blues and found it fascinating. I'm in the middle of Emerald Eyes and I'm finding it a bit uneven but still good.

After releasing Terminal Freedom in 2002 there is no trace of him on the internet or in the publishing news.

Does anyone here know anything about what has happened to him and his writing (there was a forthcoming note in Terminal Freedom about next book)?
I think I found a website with a forum that he wrote on a couple of years ago but I lost the link somehow (disappeared from the links in Explorer one day) and I haven't been able to find it again.
Thanks.

You're right Eric there was a website and links to some free extracts by this author to his "forthcoming" book but they are no longer valid or work.

Heres' a note I found that basically sums up the current state of play:

An additional novel, Players, Book I: The A. I. War, has not been released for print publication despite several years of being listed as "forthcoming". However short excerpts of the novel have been released as freeware text, available on the web, as have portions of a screenplay for The Long Run. Meanwhile no more Great Wheel novels have appeared, and many readers seem to view this series as having been absorbed or amalgamated into the Continuing Time narrative.

There may be later news than this but I'm not aware of it.

Yeah. I read that too. But still, one would think that Quiet Vision (publisher of his 4 Bantam books and Terminal Freedom) would be forthcoming with info of where one might get news on him but I never received an answer from them last time I mailed. The books are no longer in print and Daniel Keys Moran is not listed on their site.
Strange.

I dunno Erik but I saw the following comment (re AI Wars) also, so maybe he's negotiating a new contract or it's a question of legalities, who knows?...:( Probably just have to sit tight and wait.

Due to Moran's break with Bantam, a new publication date for this book has not been set.
