Has anyone read anything by her? I don't know much about her writing, but her Kiesha'ra series looks good, even for YA. Any opinions?

My friend introduced me to Amelia Atwater Rhodes writings. The first book I read by her was Hawksong. I have since read it many times. The other books in the Kiesha'ra series were good but not as good as Hawksong. When I found out she had also written vampire books, I thought oh great just another book about vampires. I, however, was delightfully surprised in the way she writes about vampires and their history, lifestyles among the more 'modern crowd', etc. They were quick reads, but a different outlook on the world of vampires made for a good book. Hope that helps.
