The Art of ASoIaF

Was just over at Martin's website and noticed he had put up a new news item outlining the release of a book devoted to the art of ASoIaF. Most of the images come from the card games, plus covers and a range of other art done for/inspired by the series. Looks very cool, will definitely be picking this one up as soon as I see it.

It's certainly on my Christmas list. I'll just have to drop a few hints in the right ears. Of course, I don't have to have the Collectors Edition, but....

Has anyone picked this up yet? I've been looking for it here, but I've been told that it's only for sale in the US, so I'll have to order a copy in, for some exorbitant fee. The question: is it worth it?

Ive searched a lot around the net for pieces of Art from the series and found a lot of great stuff . So I was also really looking forward to seeing this book . I almost ordered it from Amazon but descided I would visit the local Borders and check it out first . Well to be honest I was quite dissapointed with it . The Art in the book was all stuff Ive seen many times before . And really I didn't see any of what I would consider the best artwork in the book. The other thing I didn't like was that most of the pictuers in it were very small. I did notice a few good pictures (a great Thoros of Myr and of course Ser Jamie sitting on the iron throne with his golden sword bloody) but all in all I personally wouldn't pay the $30 for what I saw.
