Or - memorable moments in graphic literature...

WARNING! POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!

Dark Knight Returns - Frank Miller

"He makes less noise than a truck"

Batman goes on his first hunt for decades, and his cynical observation of his supposed hunters before he preys on them just struck out.

Watchmen - Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons

"Dan, I'm not a Republic serial villain. Do you seriously think I'd explain my masterstroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome?

I did it thirty-five minutes ago."

Absolutely superb moment - after stumbling into the horrifying truth of who is behind the assassination attempt on superheroes, they go after the person behind it all, only to be delivered a line that opens the astonishing climax of this story.

Marshall Law - Pat Mills

When Marshal Law finds out who the Sleepman is, and *why*.

The Dead Man (2000 AD) - Alan Grant

The moment when the Dead Man revealed his identity - crikey!

Halo Jones - Alan Moore

On the planet with the huge gravity field, she loses a friend just before entering the airlock - but because of the way gravity distorts time, everyone else has mourned her weeks ago...

Just for starters. :)

Probably the beat down Batman gave Superman in Dark Night Returns, I just love that scene. The narration seemed to fit it so well.

Also I have to note the time Bullseye killed Electra, I just find it all so well done, there was no needless on year story leading up to it, no useless crossovers. It just happned.
"You're pretty good toots, but me, I'm magig." Chucks an ace of spades card at her neck.
