General (link rich) resources

Re:Other resources

Specialist site for SF/F writers:

Fiction writer's resource page:

Writer's Publishing help (lots of links to big writer sites).

Publishers Lunch:(subscribe and you get all the biz info - who's signing, who's leaving, and how much everybody is being contracted for)

Never been too sure about the following, though - same people behind the quite excellent publisher's lunch - but somehow don;t think it acheives what it claims to aspire to. It's your call, though, not mine: Publishers Market Place

Literary Marketplace - not sure about this one, but lots of contact info around. Watch out for sharks.

Here are some articles on the writing and publishing world by Patrick Lobrutto. Don’t worry if you've never heard of him - he's only an editor who's worked with Stephen King, Isaac Asimov, Brian Herbert, and many others in an editing career spanning over 3 decades, and covering the giant publishing houses.

Very rich links across a number of topics here from SpecFic - click on each subject to find a wealth of articles on that aspect of writing. For example, check out the list on the advice for authors page.

Oh - and there's Author's secret radio ...

A lot of resources here from NY agent Peter Rubie.

Check out the articles and follow-up links at Writing world. IF you'd like to look at the specific SF/F section then try here.

Lots of articles here. Although mostly children's fiction. There's still a lot of useful information there.
