have you ever thought a thought
not sure where it got caught
but it traveled round inside your head
and continued on no matter what you said
of smelly gassy motorways
of cows peacefully eating hay
of white ants that like to eat your house
of that elusive dirty filthy mouse
of what to buy shopping today
of whether your finances will be OK
of should you have eaten that last piece of
cake
is that thing in the grass a stick or a
snake
of what you look like in a paper bag
am i really starting to sag
do children ever stop to breath
or do they just keep on talking into their
sleeve
how hot will it be today
don't go away cold breeze I'm begging you to
stay
is that a spider on the floor
who left open the front door
i wonder what makes people tick
will my tongue get stuck if i take a lick
when will the batteries run out
can i go a day without having to shout
i could go on forever with my continuing
thought
but i don't want YOUS to get caught....

This made me laugh, but I think (oh the pun!) you should make it even absurder. The part where ants eat houses is the best, that's absurd, and that should be theme, in my opinion. I love the idea!
