Re: Roald Dahl Bibliographie

God yes. Roald Dahl is the king!

I don't know which is my favourite, George's Marvellous Medicine with the giant chickens or Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator.

I remember crying watching the news when he died.

Some of his books have had good film adaptations made of them. Not either of the Chocolate Factory Ones, I would say, neither could come close to the magic and wonder and silliness of the book, but Danny the Champion of the world has a watchable adaptation with Jeremy Irons in it, a long time ago, in the 80s I think, and the animated BFG was also very beautifully done.

Re: Roald Dahl Bibliographie

I know James and the Giant Peach was made into a movie, I believe by Tim Burton. I remember reading that book when I was 8 years old.

Then The Witches was made into a movie too, but I have yet to see that one. Angelica Huston played in it.

Re: Roald Dahl Bibliographie

Yes, James and the Giant Peach was made into a combined animation and live action musical!

Good songs too.
