Next book

Australia too? I couldnt stand it if we couldnt get the new book... *bites nails*

its a great book well worth buying, the last few books have been a return to his best work

I just got a leaflet through the post (im with the Fantasy and SF book club :p) and im about to order it :D

Apparently some people have found copies in bookshops already (in the UK), even thought it isn't officially out until next week, as far as I know.

The two Tal books and the kaspar one was good, the first darkwar however was truly bad, he repeats everything over and over again about the chars histories and the story in itself was paper-thin, even i knew leso varen was the emperor long before i reached the conclusion of the book

I'm not surprised you knew Leso was the Emperor before the end of the book. Feist gives it to you on a plate with some pretty big hints, so I don't think he intended it to be an 'Oh my god' moment. It was the characters who had to work it out, not the reader

i was because i forgot who leso was as i had read the series out of order so it came as a shock to me for that reason only

I think it did take me a while to notice it, although in retrospect it was fairly obvious. Perhaps I wasn't paying enough attention.

It wasn't anywhere near as blatantly obvious as Leso's identity in "Into A Dark Realm".

your right there, what i dont get is it said that Leso was causing havoc again but on a different world. yet all he did was kill a device maker and the other great one who discovered the rift, thats not exactly havoc is it?

anyway i found out what happened when i was reading up on the darkwar on Wikipedia so consider what i said as a non-spoiler thingie, as the plot was spoiled on there
