Ben Stark..:)

We all agree he's Coldhand, oui?

I wonder how he became a semi-wight? Was it deliberate..did he sacrifice himself? Or was he attacked and able to resist.

This may have discussed already...but I'm still claim newbie privileges:p

Oui, je suis d'accord...as posted in other thread, Ben Stark is Coldhands but I can't put my fingers on what the Wildlings (Mance) may have told Jon when he asked them about Benjen, or did he ask at all?

I can't wait for Tyrion. Everytime I read a mention of the little rotten imp in AFFC, I was hoping he would show up and finish off his kinslaying and get to Cersei. He is the best chararacter in my opinion and i'm itching to find out where he ended up and what he's scheming...

I'm looking forward to Tyrion..except he just breaks my heart..poor guy can't catch a break...:(

I can't wait to read more about Bran! I love him. Everything is simplified with him. I think that GRRM did a great job writing him, as I know it's hard to write convincingly from a child's POV.

can't wait for him to find the 3-eyed crow :excitelittledance: I wonder if he'll be able to walk again.

I'm also really looking forward to Arya reuniting with her she-wolf.

I would like to see more of the Blackfish..he's got hutzpah..I hope he gets over his dislike of Jon (another reason to hate Cat) :)

I agree. I cant see how Bran is NOT going to play a major role in what will transpire.

Im also dying to know whats happening on the wall with Jon, Stannis and Davos.

I want more POVs from Dany, Tyrion and Jaime. I also want Sandor's POV.

But just wanting more of a character? Littlefinger, Varys, Tyrion, Jaime, Sandor, Pod, Dororous Edd, Cersei, Bronn, and Barristan.

bran is the only character whose pov i constantly skip in rereads....funny how different people get different enjoyment out of these books

Aye I have always liked Bran. From his climbs up the hieghts of Winterfel, to the boyish wonder at the seemingly incomprehesible adults. His bond to his direwolf (I think its the strongest bond of them all because of his crippled state and the fact he is a boy more open to such a strange thing) I too believe Bran will prove to be a large player in the conclusion of this story and if GRRM turns him into some horrid walking abomination like he did Cat he had better ..... well I'll just leave that thought out of print! :D

But truly my favorite POV is Ayra, it broke my heart when she lost her sight and for me it was without a doubt the most profound statement GRRM made in AFFC. I must have re-read that passage at least 10 times wondering if somehow I had missunderstood. :(

I think Benjen Stark a.k.a. Coldhands is the three eyed crow. You know, a crow is someone of the night's watch. And if Ben has somehow gotten himself turned into (a good) one of the Others. . . . and I have to say, if the wights can walk when they're dead. . . . if Bran became someone like Benjen, I bet he could walk, yes?

yeah, i thought it might have been jon for same reasons. He's a warg (third eye) like bran and a crow.

I'm still not sold on the Benjen as Coldhands theory. I could go either way. I don't think that Benjen/Coldhands is the three-eyed crow. I think that the three-eyed crow is one of the Children of the Forest, for whom Coldhands is a messenger.

When I found out Bran wasn't going to be in Feast I almost did not buy the book the day it came out. I think the Bran POV's are going to be the most interesting and possibly most revealing parts of the next book.

While I do think that Benjen is Coldhands, I like your theory about the Chlidren of the Forest. They are mentionned too many times in these books to not have a greater role to play.

Benjen = Coldhands seems to be a declining theory in popularity (well, not here obviously!), being swiftly usurped by Bloodraven = Coldhands or Some Random Magical Guy = Bloodraven.
:D

Well for one havent accepted the Coldhands=Benjen thing. I want some sort of clue and not just Benjen disappeared in the north, and this guy comes from the north....ipso facto same guy....

You know nothing forum posters

What? No Jaqen=Coldhands? Im shocked! ;)

I never liked the B=Ch hypothesis. Im of the Ch=some random magical guy (SRMG) camp.

Then what on earth's happened to Benjen? It's Sandor all over again. Ben "died" offscreen, ergo - he's still alive (In some form). So he's either Coldhands, with the Children of the Forest or has been zombie'fied and is going to be one of the leading Wights.
