The Chicago Sun-Times ran an article in its Sunday supplement with a picture of author Sam Weller dressed in a spacesuit and holding up a copy of his new book, 'The Bradbury Chronicles.' The subheading reads: "How Weller got to write the life story of his childhood hero..."
Weller appears on National Public Radio and has written for Punk Rock Magazine and Playboy. He is also the recipient of the most prestigious award in Chicago journalism...he really gets around.
It was obvious from the start of the book that Weller had access to Ray Bradbury's family, his files, and Bradbury himself. Ray Bradbury was born in 1920 but this is the first time he has ever been biographed, and it is an EXCELLENT work. Copies signed by both Weller and Ray Bradbury are available from a link on the reviews page at Adventure Books. The link goes to Weller's bookstore in Chicago!
