After reading heaps of David Gemmell's books I often get to the end of a book and wish I knew more about certain characters - also the epilogues lead you to ask sooo many more questions....

So who do you wish "had their own book" - a spin off series so to speak....

I wish I knew more about The 30, or more about The Dragon...

I know exactly what you mean or the WAR of the TWINS... he tends to give you tantalising hints and then goes off in another direction

I also wish he would write more about Feragol - from the Rigate series... who went and lived in another land over the sea... (which had parallels to USA in my mind.... the native indians.... i dont know my US history though, I'm a new zealander...)

There's so many I don't know where to start! Well, pretty much everyone in Knights of Dark Renown for starters... I just finished the book a while ago, and thought it was awesome! I'm going to have to go and re-read some books I think, and then come back and answer the question properly!

I agree with KoDR. I would have liked to see the back story of this turned into a book of how ollathair build up the knights and there adventures before they crossed the gate

the 30, the dragon, tenaka khan (especially leading up to seeing chareos and his youth), chareos, bardan and bress. oh and chareos.

wow, thats a long list.

Skilgannons middle years, the ones where he's aligned with Ulric.

The twins

war of the twins! definetly.
and the 30 in general
but mostly the twin war thing! it feels like there is a huge gap missing because of that being not there :)

that would be good and tenaka khan, well a lot of them just about all of them, I've forgotten their name but in the rigante series book three at the start Jaims best friend dies who is the father of the one of the main charaters I would like to learn more about him, sorry can't think of the names and I've lent the book out so can't refer its the begining of Ravenheart the prologe damm it whats he called, but the story of his father anyway.

but I've just finished quest for lost hero's and a few ppl have mentioned the war of the twins so I guess thats the twins which are born at the end I do love his Drenai time line conecting it all together is well written

I'm a sucker for Skilgannon. Anything at all with him in is great IMO.

Characters i would like to hear more about have to be skilgannon and the main character from dark moon the guy with the split personality.

As people have already said, there are a lot of them.
But off the top of my head, I would like to read more about the Moidart, Angel, Bane and the other bloke in the Tenaka Khan book, the one who wore the scarf to cover his disfigured face, I can't think of his name.

when i have read his books i was left feeling that there was a lot still left to the character. but hten theres always room for the next book then

i just finished ravenheart, was at work when i read it and if there had been nobody in the office i would have cried when vjain grymauch died. very upsetting. he should have more written about him.

I would have to say Waylander, before he met Dardalion but after, or perhaps during his change from Dakeyras into Waylander. He was so much cooler when he had no conciense amd only looked out for himself.

Another cool book would be Miriel and Angel's story, them killing Karnak and so on.

I would like to hear more about bane. i was expecting the 3rd rigante book to continue his story, and was quite dissapointed with the huge jump through time to where ravenheart is set, not that i didnt love ravenheart and stormrider of course.
