Everyone I've ever met who attended a session of Clarion said it was fabulous. And Clarion students do seem to have a very high rate of success getting published afterwards. Some of that may be because you have to be good just to get in, and some of that may be because of the contacts you can make (saying that you've been to Clarion is sort of like learning the secret handshake that gives you access to some of the inner circles) but considering the caliber of the writers that teach at these sessions it seems like it would be impossible to come away without some very valuable insights and skills.
Yeah, I figure it would cost about $3,000 U.S., and it runs from the last week of June, all through July, and to the first week of August. That's a lot time and money. Even if I got lucky and they gave me a scholarship, it's still commitment to pull it off. I do like their line up, though. Terry
