I have fond memories of the book (read in my early twenties) but I found the examples he gave rather waffly. I think they did both develop as writers afterwards. Looking forward to the TV series, but not sure I'll reread the novel now.

I found it a good pick me up, funny and light read.

I love the book. The interplay between Aziraphale and Crowley especially. I'm looking forward to see how Sheen and Tennant do in the roles, however, I loved Mark Heap and Peter Serafinowicz in the roles for the BBC radio adaptation.
