just want to add another point,

4) Berics sword clearly was actually "aflame". He caught the Hounds shield on fire.

So I assume the lack of responses to my questions is because the entire community is either Awed by my awesome intellectual and deductive talents, diligently researching my thought provoking questions or ignoring my useless prattle.....I know which theory Im going with...regardless of the truth

Soooo... you're saying that Melissandre might be trying to kill AA reborn or at least make him vulnerable to The Other's attack, but that she does not yet recognize that she has not really found out that she's selected the wrong AA reborn. Interesting, I'll think more about this one.

Btw, I try not to judge (too stringently) our guesses of the plots here... well, because some of the most ridiculous suggestions are my own.

I give people the benefit of the doubt...Im not the subject matter expert I pretend to be...George is, but he is damn slow in coming out with the truth.

Actually I dont believe this crud...I think Melissandre is what she is...but the part about the sword bugs me. Why would Berics sword do something LB couldnt...and does M ever actually use fire as a modus for her magic...this bugs me to no end. She sees Davos coming to kill her in the flames (she says) but that happens off camera. And her jewel flares when the maester attempts to poison her....but no flame.

I think the line she gives Davos underneath Storms End may be key...if someone could quote that here Id appreciate it.

Still trying to disprove this...any help would be appreciated
