ancillary character, I recon that has to be the askard guy, can't remember his name .. opps but i guess he is dead, havn't seen series 4 (poor uk person) so don't know for 100% certain. I just hope we get to meet some more askard individuals soon and find a lot more about them. They are cool race. I think more info on say the nox/askard relationship and how they all met would also be great.
Jack is good, dry sense of humour but also Teal'c is pretty damn cool, i liked that episode when he told that joke to Jack about horses or something.

I like the joke that he told during "Seth" about Seth's Jaffa. I almost fell off the couch laughing and I was really a little disappointed by the reactions of everyone else, especially Jacob. I thought at least he or his symbiote would get the joke and join in with the laughter.

I was really annoyed, I missed that episode, the video did not work. I am buying up all the sg-1 episodes on dvd so hopefully they will get series 3 out soon although they have not even finished series 2 yet, no idea why it takes so long.

It's really incredibly unfair. You all in the UK are getting the episodes on DVD and VHS while those of us in the States have only had one DVD and one VHS so far. Hopefully though for us, they'll start offering them through the new fan club when it gets started. That was one of the things I heard from the PR guy for SG1.

It is really strange it has happened that way, normally you get everything before us. I mean series 3 does not start till september i don't think here. The DVD are really bizarre. They put 4 episodes of seris 1 on disk 1 and then on the 2nd disk they went straight to series 2 and did it in order. On the last two disks released (5/6) they have put two eps of series 1 (random ones again) and 2 of season 2. It is so so so strange.

I'd have to say Daniel is my favorite character. He kept me watching the first few episodes. Then, instead of staring at him and fast-forwarding my tapes to all of Daniel's parts, I actually watched the show once. That was some time ago. Jack is keeping me with Stargate SG-1 too now, I love his one-liners I try to use them around my friends. Sam Carter/Amanda Tapping is my role model, so, I like her too. Teal'c.. well I like watching him because whenever my sister sees me watching SG-1 she automatically asks about him. Well.. I guess I like everyone!

My favourite character would have to be Major Charles Kawalsky. What can I say? I have a thing for minor characters. I'm the #KAWler (yes, that's right, he has his own online fan club)...oh, and Major Louis Ferretti too (I'm the #1 FERling too ^_^). These guys, while not having large parts, make the parts they do have memorable

It is true that all the main four characters are top notch, i guess it would not be such a great program if one of them was a bit average!
I have to say that I like Hammond though. He can be quite funny and it is real cool when he goes "against" his orders in the way he has done. What about that episode when he files the glider, that is so so cool.
Otherwise I think Sam gets the vote and yes the Doc as I call her is pretty cool as well, she should get more time I recon.

I will admit, I like Janet and I was thrilled when they promoted her in the third season. Although I wish they would have had a ceremony for her like they did Carter. With her, it was a matter of seeing gold oak leaves on her shoulders rather than the Captain's bars.

Man...I just love them all! They all make up one person...Jack is the witiness in us all, Daniel is the cautious and shy part of all of us, Sam is the intellectual side and Teal'c is the strength and courage that we all posess. But....if we HAVE to choose...I'd have to say Daniel because I can relate to him the most out of all of the characters...I know what you all are thinking..and no, I am not a geek but I think I have his sensitivity and his outlook for certain things. Also, Daniel is damn hot...I'm sorry, couldn't help myself.
Man...I just love them all! Them what about sam always coming up with a soulition for every problem and having feeling for good old Jack. But lastly we can not forget teal'c with his choose for little words but his honour to the team. So lets say i don't have a favourite i love all of sg1.

he certainly is wrong (referring to Dexter's post that has been deleted). Unfortunatly he is some pain who has been causing a bit of a hassle for me here (and in the .alt.tv.stargate-sg1 newgroup). He is why we have moderators here. See any rubish in your sections and do what i did, delete it. (you can also edit the post). Ask me if you are unsure what to do but i recon you will probably know best anyway.
