Most ugliest person?

"Tis true. Thank snake has more lives than a slew of cats! It sure makes it fun, for us!

Well, after one of the recent new epys, Maybourne has risen a notch in my book (if only because of the humor of sending Jamaican music over the red phone in Hammond's office!).

Same epy - Senator Kinsey is even more "ugliest person." I wonder if they will make him President over the next few seasons?

Now that's really an ugly thought!

Glad you are begining to like Maybourne. He is one of those shades of Grey characters... But I loved him dancing and celebrating with the Jamacian lady and steel band music!

Let's nominate Kinsey for ugliest human.... He is gross!

Yes, they could have easily killed off Maybourne, instead of locking him up. Letting him out and making him a humorous, foil character was a great idea, I hope we see lots more of him.

Hey jsc, didn't know you were a Spanish Goa'uld! OK, mayb I'm jumping to conclusions here... ;)

I live in South Central LA and Spanish should be everyones' second language if not their first! LA has a very heavy Latino orientation. Over half the population is Latino and our name is Nuestra Senora de las Angeles (Our Lady of the Angles) or La cuidad de Nuestra Senora de las Angeles (the cityof our Lady of the Angels). Sort of a big plug for the Virgin Mary!

!Yo hablo un poquito y muy mal!

Aprendiendo, pero hablo un poco tambien!

(Is that right...?)

When did you learn Spanish then, jsc?

4 years of Latin and living in Southern California. Or in da hood.

So for you, Vancouver is just a drive away. A really long drive away, but still a drive. For me, it's a long flight, and a drive away... *sighs wistfully* ;)

a really *really* looooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggg drive away -- about 26 hours if you stop for food (but not sleep). I speak from experience.

Shiloh,

You went to the last Gate con BY CAR!

Good Grief!! You are braver than I! I wouldn't be able to walk for days after sitting that long! Its bad enough driving around LA!

Naw, not Gatecon, a different Science Fiction convention. But we drove home *after* throwing a party that lasted until 4am (William Gibson was one of our guests at the party, if you know who he is), then we did the last day at the con, then drove home leaving Canada at 5pm. Arrived in LA at 7pm the next night. Only 2 drivers. I was so tired I started having hallucinations around Buttonwillow.

Glad I didn't drive with you! Hard enough for me to keep my eyes open esp.with halluninations! Lucky Lady!

William Gibson is the science fiction author who essentially invented (i.e., the first to do it) "cyberpunk", the style of writing best epitomized by the movie "The Matrix". He started writing those types of novels in 1985, and I believe is credited with creating the term "cyberspace". He's a really great guy, too.

Sorry, all; we can get back to the topic now......which was??????????
