have you seen this man in season five?

No i haven't got the tapes, but some of the pics circulating the net are awesome.

one freind in particular is mad about his biceps...aparently he is one buff dude this season and seems like he has less shots with glassess lol...which shows his baby blues off to the best advantage and if you all remember aby loves those baby blues.

He's buffed out more and I'd swear someone is shrinking his t-shirts.

Also take into account that Michael Shanks just turned 30 a bit ago so he's aged 4-5 years since the show began. He's reaching that stage in his maturation where he's lost most of the residual body chubbyness he was carrying early on. {not that he didn't look good back then...}, just some guys carrying it later into their lives, especially if they aren't 5 hour in the gym a day workout people. It's a body type thing. His face is leaner and his muscular more defined. His walk is smoother, more flowing.

I chalk some of the latter up to the schedule and type of work he's done over the last few years. A lot more active physically. He's had to learn to do a lot of pretty tricky things while running, jumping, etc. {Try doing a 'cover fire - fall back - reload - cover fire' maneauver on the run without falling on your face. It's takes a lot of practice and timing. It took me a good while to get it down and I came into the Army with both a martial arts and ethnic dance background so I was already used to things based on these kinds of movements}.

And the short hair definately draws attention to his face and upper body. The jut and slope of jaw line and chin are a natural pointer to the upper torso.

The end result: A *very* attractive man who is also intellegent and a good conversationalist: Someone I wouldn't mind spending time with over a good cup of coffee just chating.

yep can tell how the upper body is worked on and lots of great points there rowan, i like the short hair because it does suit his face more :)

and think they are actually letting us see his biceps now and his body last year never got that they just let the baggy clothes hang on him :)

Peachy? You snuck onto the set and replaced all his t-shirts with one size too small ones didn't you?

Those ones I sent you were for your clones, not for Daniel to wear on the show. Not that I mind of course. 'Cause, I don't :naughty:

I just wish I'd have thought of it first ;)
