That would be the castI would want, also. Can you imagine no Teal'c, Sam, Hammond or Janet Fraiser!?!?
 
Couldn't imagine a movie with the original bunch now, and IMHO MS is far better and more likeable as Daniel than JS was... could say the same aboout RDA vs KR, but they are such different actors, Jack has been taken in such a different direction to the way i could have seen KR taking the char...

I heard talk of TWO movies . . . jsc and coffeecup would have two chances to see Teal'c. I'll bet they'd be REALLY happy about that!
 
So you guys aren't for the idea of doing a movie to do with another aspect of stargate? Say from the POV of a Goa'uld/Tok'ra, or maybe in a different part of the universe, or even filling in some history: say what happened when the Tau'ri rebelled against Ra? There seems to be more possibilities for that ...
and yeah Texane, where'd ya hear that?

Well, if Michael Shanks wanted Daniel's character to "grow" on the show, I'd say he got what he wanted in Absolute Power.

wasn't he fantastic....I love it when he gets to do stuff like that....real nasty and scary. He'd make one cold blooded dictator...and the flashes of being a goau'ld...cool out...but he wouldn't suit it...I think I'm too used to him as Daniel Jackson, SG-1, Daniel Jackson goau'ld...I dunno.

loved the part where jack tried to shoot him and he locked up sam...cold or what!

I'm not being funny, but does anyone think that (mainly in Season 4) his eyebrows are way too hyperactive?!
 
I agree about the eyebrows! In that one episode with his college buddies (I don't want to go into spoiler mode), man, those brows were going NUTS! By the way, I really hate to say this, but I think that eyebrow habit is catching. Sometimes I find myself getting all eyebrow-jumping and shifty-eyed and I realize that I am doing Daniel! I seriously doubt that I look as cute as he does when I do it though! People must think I have a tic!

You are right, Daniel would make one seriously dangerous System Lord! Apophis would quake in his sarc if Daniel came to town with a Goa'uld! When he started handing out lists of his "personal requirements", then bought the mansion with the guards, I instantly thought Goa'uld. Then the lavish furniture and high tech stuff, I knew he was in deep poopoo. At least he did not hurt Jack. When O'Neill shot at him, I thought he might punish him by killing him. Since he killed Teal'c and locked up Sam, it was not out of the realm of possibility. Phew, now that I have a chance to start spoiling, I am taking full advantage of it! It feels good to post about the latest episode (for me anyway).

boy that was one hell of an ep, I loved his eyes and the way he acted with teal'c playing on the old friction between them and the fact that he now thought of himself as power ful as the system lords, I loved seeing him with the ribbon device and the disapointment at discovering how it worked and because he wasn't goau'ld, not being able to make it.....

they make him look a little more vulnerable sometimes

Oh yeah...Daniel makes one delicious badguy. Hathor knew what she was doing when she wanted him to be her pharoah. Daniel is a very strong man emotionally, mentally (especially mentally, being a genius and all) and physically, but we don't always get to see him REALLY flex his muscles, so to speak. He also has the ability to be really mean, and it suits him.

Well, according to the SG1 game site (so it's prob speculation), Daniel made Teal'c's GDO malfunction. So, I guess he went *splat*.
