Since it was announced that Sam would be married in 2010 and she does seem to have no life out of SGC..Seems like Paul Davis is a good bet.

see that's why i'm waiting. i wanna know if they tell us who she's married to or not.
somehow i have this vision in my head of just seeing the ring on her finger at the beginning of the eps, then she goes back in time to fix whatever and then when she comes back the ring is gone, saying that in fixing the mistake she un-fixed her marriage.
that would keep both the shippers and non-shippers happy cause we'd have no idea who mr. carter is.
course another way it'll go could be that hubby goes back and gets killed and she's single again
or we could get a happy ending?

or, knowing the producers of the show...none of the above

and thanks to the &(^*%^%&%^*^*^*(^*^ showtime i'm gonna have to wait until next year to find out
 
Anybody know if Maj.Davis has a first name...I need it for a story I am writing. PS if I actually finish it I need a beta, any takers

hope you have sam getting some action...the girl really needs to get out more

Well, I've written about four pages so far. I dont want you to think its Maj Davis story or even a Carter/Davis story. Its basically SG1 meets Santa Klaus (or such.) I just need Davis' first name so I could have a character refer to him as something other than "Maj. Davis".

However...I can fit in a Carter/Davis sideline like I did with "SD-1".

Hopefully I have it done in week and I'll send it to Sky for beta-ing
 
Only fit it in if it enhances the story! Skydiver makes a great beta! Her stories are excellent. Have you read Errant Children? (It is part of the Teal'c Still Waters series)

Love your non-serious stuff...but then again that is all I have read! Where are you going to post it, BESIDES HERE?
 
is it scarecrow's dream or the woolf den where sg-d was posted? know i've seen it somewhere but can't quite remember where. in the past few days i've been on nearly every fanfic website i can find searching for something to read.

I watched a couple of episodes again yesterday and I've really got to say I like the guy.

He's not real bad on the eyes, he cares about the SGC and the team in particular. His actions both in Small Victories and Tangent showed caring and compassion for everyone concerned.

I especially liked how he didn't just jump to it and have the Dallas destroy the Russian sub. He waited and let Daniel be the one to make the decision. I think that took a lot of insight into Daniel and what he was going through for him to do that.

In Tangent he shows that caring again. You know he is really feeling the same despair that the rest of the people at the SGC are feeling at the idea of losing Teal'c and Jack.

I hope that this is one character that TPTB don't kill off.

they dang well better not. personally i think he could become hammond's aide or something.
that way we'd be able to see him more often
 
I wonder what he will do in 2010 and chain reaction? To SAY NOTHING OF EXODUS! Hope they don't kill him off!
 
well if he's hoping for longevity...he better keep away from sam. with the exception of narim, all her old boyfriends end up dead :D

I also have a general dislke of the Tollans, not Marim in particular, just the Tollans, they are far too superior! I understand their non-interference policy and probably agree with it but they are so smugly superior!
 
was reading along -- and someone mentioned that Maj Davis showed up for the first time in Into the Fire -- nope -- he's in A Matter of Time too -- that's the 1st ep we see him -- tho not for very long - itty bitty teenie tiny little part - basically - he nearly slams into Hammond, then escorts him to an airplane where Hammond's supposed to leave to talk w/ the Pres -- (dunno why Davis doesn't get on the plane w/ him b/c he's s'posed to go back to the Pentagon -<shrug> )

okay - hmmmmmm -- other Major Davis stuff -- well - heard he's supposed to be around in season 5 - - just waiting!!
