Actually, from the amazingly serious way I've seen fans write about their favorite characters at this, and other sites, you won't see them writing at all. You will see them BOYCOTTING. I have really been surprised at the excessive and expressive manner in which they write, as if they believe the characters are real people . . . a little disturbing at times (I can see where stalkers come from).

And the last I heard, Chris Judge said the primary characters were signed up to Series 7. It is also possible that RDA takes a page from Mulder (and Scully's show) again - still in the series, but films only 11 of the 22 episodes each season, in order to spend more time with his daughter. And after all, he and Brad Wright can make those decisions pretty easily.
