Question of Interest

i liked deanna and riker together as well, definatly much better, they did get back together in insurrection though...peachy

Remember the part in First contact where Riker seemed quite amused to find Troi drunk (a consequence of keeping an eye on Zephraim Cochrane)?

worf and dax (jadzia) were better suited i think...peachy

So far, we all seem to prefer Worf with Jadzia.

Just for laughs, what do you think of some other possible matches for Worf?

Worf and Kira on DS9? Talk about a strong woman----Kira was quite a firecracker at times.

Worf and B'Elanna Torres? (of course, different quadrants, and I'm not 100% sure how the timelines of DS9 and VOY match up, etc. but this is all hypothetical, anyway.) B'Elanna is part Klingon, part human, and Worf is a Klingon raised by humans. B'Elanna can be volatile, what would the arguments be like!?!

Actually, the writers of Star Trek have come up with quite a few strong female characters, including Tasha Yar (I missed her character on TNG when they killed her off), Seven of Nine, etc. Quite a difference from the days of Nurse Chappell.

Hi little star!

You know Worf and B'Elanna Torres I think will be a great couple, although with the characters of this two
I imagine the fights. But I see it better than Kira, although Kira is a strong woman I can visualize her with
Worf. And Crusher much less, I always see Crusher with Picard. And think that Riker and Troi make a
wonderful pair. As for Kira, I always love Shakar for her.

I have t say that i loved the way the whole of the senior staff worked.. they were not only colleagues but friends aswell... The way they met to play poker.. It was extremely well thought out and acted...

Data in my eyes was the character which facinated me.. his inocence.. he was like a child learning. Although he never made any mistakes like we did..

he made a few... like the time he made secret contact with a girl on a pre-warp world which was being pulled apart by earthquakes...

I think I remember that one. Didn't she have really long fingers and red hair? Or is that another one I'm thinking of?

Annette.

very true.. Data has made som mistakes in his time... Like when he made Lol.. his android daughter.. but he also learnt alot from becoming a father...

yeah thats the one Annette....

and its Lal not Lol ;) lol (laugh out loud) is what we do when we watch data... :D

My husband says I'm a sad person when I see the opening credits for an episode and tell him what its about. I'm glad i remembered that one.

Annette.

Well my other half has learnt not to speak to me when trek is on.... i just get left alone.. to watc it in peace

i've got all my friends trained as well, none of them phone me when star trek, stargate (especially) and
buffy & angel are on...peachy

Lucky you

Whenever theres something on I want to watch you can bet the hubby or the kids will disturb me. Its usually when theres a good episode of Star Trek on. It really gets on my nerves.

Annette.

got the kids trained too annette (haha) the remote control is mine, i so own it (haha)...peachy

That is me too Peachy.. sky, Tv, Video right next to me on the chair.... no way anyone is gonna mess with me whie i am watching trek or stargate...

i even got them there own cable box up in their room
so wouldn't moan at me (haha)...peachy

Now that is a dam good idea.... unfortnately with sky u have to pay £34 a month for another box... not like cable.. and we cant get cable around hee yet...

LOL...when my Mum started dating my Dad, when she would go around his house, no-one was allowed to speak when Star Trek was on.....and when ST:TNG was showing, I wouldn't let anyone speak when it was on...so much so, I used to watch it in my room..just so I wouldn't be disturbed.......and now with Stargate...well, I just happen to tape every episode, so if by pure chance I do get disturbed...I can watch it over and over again latter on.....

We have got cable and just pay an extra £15 a month for the extra box. It comes in very handy.
