How old is Amanda Tapping?

I just noticed that the IMDB doesn't have an age for Amanda Tapping, I wonder if that is her being coquettish, or simply because she is not that famou syet.

Do anyone know her age?

to the best of my knowledge she has always refused to state her year of birth. think the date in aug 28(and i could be wrong, if i am please correct me) but she won't spill on the year. she also doens't like it if pictures of her hubby get publicized either.

trying to keep a bit of her private life private i guess

Ah, so that explains why I couldn't find the message... it had been moved... I'm not sure it's a good idea to super devide everything into tiny subgroups, you'll get a lot of groups with a few message in them as opposed to a few big groups with lots of messages - of course that could be a goal...


As for her age I'd probably agree late twenties early thirties, varies depending on what pictures you see. I've seen a few where she looks like a giddy school girl, and some where the wrinkles are starting to wave at you.

Funny, I find it silly that she wont tell, and she just lost half a chevron because of that

on the moving, it just makes it easier for people to find what they want so people with limited time can read just specific forums that they are interested in. Also makes it easy to manage for us.

hey jsc, well I do have my own password, I just check from many different machines However I found that if you back up far enough on this here board, there is a "log out" link. Some boards are smart enough to have an option to timeout after a while, but this works ... if you remember

I read somewhere that she was born in1965. How true that is though I have no idea. To be honest with the exceptions of DSD and RDA - who does not look 51 - I had always thought that the other actors were fairly close in age, ie: in their 30's, and was surprised to find out originally that MS was only in his mid twenties when the series began as I think he looks older.

i've always thought 30's also...well jack a bit older, but then again to be a colonel he'd have to be.

and on one biography she won't give the year...every con someone askes her how old she is and why she & her hubby haven't had kids yet.

the first she refuses to answer and the second she says she can't be a good mom & an actress working 12-14 hour days at the same time so mom is going to wait a while..

course i always wonder at the people who can ask such personal questions. i also remember hearing her hubby usually goes with her but prefers to remain in the background...even to the point that he doesn't like to have his pic taken...just rumors though.
