How old is Amanda Tapping?

oh yeah, excelelnt mommy material...i remember reading that during singularity she went to the producers and wanted sam to adopt cassandra, and they talked her out of it using most of the reasons they did on the show. janet was better suited to be mommy cause she worked regular shifts(usually) and didn't go off world for days(and in season 4) weeks at a time, and didn't work in quite so hazardous place.

personality wise, sam would b a great mom, but as u say, she's off world a lot.

she wouldn't b there 4 cassie, no matter how much she wanted 2 b

i believe shes got a year on me

If she started college in 1984 then she got 1 year on me.
I think shes 34 years young. But looks 27 :)

i don't see how she(sam the character) can be 31. she was supposed to be a pilot during desert storm and that was 10 years ago. i don't think shed be allowed to fly missions that young. i think her character is supposed to be mid thirties now, late twenties, early thirties when the season started.:D
i think in real life at is around the same age which kind of brings up the bio clock tick tock issues:eek:
 
I can't agree with part of that. At least here in the States it is the kids we put in our 42 million dollar fighter planes - they have the best reflexes.
 
I believe she's 35. or so I've heard. and MS does look older than 20-something. I would have said early 30s. CJ is the youngest, late 20s. and RDA looks VERY good to be 51!:kisses: :kisses:
 
i heard that amanda was 33 this year.
i have by a reliable source that sam's DOB is: 29 12 68
michael shanks's is: 15 12 70 (and he is the youngest in the cast)
and of course, teal'c is 104
