Opera and site

If I remember correctly [and I'm not an opera buff', it's the section where Pallacci, the clown, is basically saying "Laugh. Put on your smile and face the world even though your heart is breaking and the world ashes at your feet. Laugh, clown, laugh... this is what is expected from you, you're fate in life..."

Again, when you look at what had to happen to Jack to set him up for Mayborne, it adds another layer to the mix. Here's Jack putting on the 'I'm fine. I'm great.' face to the world when, in fact, he's just torn apart and tried to distroy the things he's come to cherished most, because he's been ordered to... it's expected of him.
