well, after 6 mean exams I did really well. It's only a mid-semester report so they only say a little bit and we don't actually get unit grades until the completion of the semester, but i was pleased with the comments i got. but my english teacher was a real bitch and said that i was a little too opinionated, she's only pissed off cos i argue with her about everything. our opinions always differ and she seems to think mine are wrong. (this from a woman who hates science fiction - what do you expect!)

I got a letter sent home about my unexplained absenses too, but i got home before mum and dad and swiped it from the letter box, then i put it through the paper shredder. hehehe. they'll never know......unless they read this thread or if one of you guys tells them, so sssshhhhh....

no i'm not sad or jealous.

i loved school but i'm glad it's over. like i'm glad uni is over (5 years it took but i got two degrees).

I almost went back to uni the year before last to do a PhD. I'd spoken to the uni and we were set to roll but i bought my business and I figured i couldn't do 7 years' part time research AND run a full-time business so i've shelved the PhD for awhile. One day............
