Cleaning crew?

I don't know why our gate is so much cleaner than anyone elses. Maybe they have a cleaning crew. Or when Jack gets "mouthy" to Hammond he has to clean the gate as punishment. That's probably why hammond never actually Court Marshalls Jack. If anyone's interested, I saw a bunch of keychains of the actual stargate on e-bay. I think they were $6 each. Check it out.
 
Maybe they have a big machine to clean it, or a janitor, or maybe they have bets and whoever loses has to clean the stargate, each and every chevron :D
They may have a power hose to clean it
