New Star Trek Series!!!

Thanks Little Star,

If everyone checks out my link, they say that the "T'Pau" character is actually Romulan. There are a lot of contradictory things, a suggestion that there are deliberate leaks to confuse and muddy the waters.

They would like to only have us visit the http://www.startrek.com/ site for our news. "It's not true until you hear it here". But there never is anything there of real substance.

hi david676!

A Romulan---now that could be interesting! Another bit of info I picked up (source: maybe Trek Today, but I'm not 100% positive, can't remember) is that Sirtis (Troi) was told she would not be making any guest appearances because her character would not fit into the timeline of the new series. Not really a useful bit, since that could equally mean the series would be set pre-TOS or post-VOY.

I'm sure they have to throw some junk info out there, so that if the real bit leaked (must be hard to keep it quiet--spies everywhere, you know) it would get lost among the trash, and we'll all keep guessing to the last! :)

"Series V," on the other hand, he remarks, "is truly where my heart is right now, where my blood and toil have been. We're in pretty much full-gear. We are in prep on it. Brannon and I wrote the script. We've gotten a tremendous amount of positive reinforcement from everyone at Paramount who has read it. It's not exactly certain where it's going to end up, but it will most likely be UPN. We are in full pre-production. We've been working with Herman Zimmerman on both interior and exterior designs. In fact, I believe we will be hammering the first nails within the next few weeks on a stage that's currently being used for Vanilla Sky, a movie with Tom Cruise. We're starting to hire people. The casting process will be starting pretty soon. And I believe we will begin our two-hour premiere sometime in May."

Kind of like modern art . . . it stinks.:dead:

Could you make it more blatant?

This is so clearly a troll for another flamewar that I have to ask myself why I'm even responding.

Flaming is when someone deliberately posts something to antagonize readers in an effort to provoke unpleasant responses. Not interesting at all.
