I'm probably going to try to go, but it depends on how busy I am. I may have to go to a conference that weekend, but I should know this in a couple of weeks. If I don't have to go to the conference, I'll go to Wolf SG3........

The characters aren't the only reason you go to these things.... they have a lot going on and you get to meet other fans. And let's face it, you'd have a lot more luck meeting up and making friends among the fans than meeting the actors and making buddies out of them. They tend to like to keep their personal lives and friendships out of the picture if they can. And who can blame them.

No offence meant, but I think it's a pretty scary notion that a fan has an actor's address...... They usually protect themselves a lot better than that!

Just my opinion! *shrug*, but there's no way that I would intrude on anyone's private life by writing unsolicited mail to them. Through a fan club, maybe. But that's just me. I don't watch the show for the actors anyway. I like the show for the characters.

I sometimes do the - watch the show because of the actors in it and end up loving the show and the characters PLUS the actor even more (RDA..hehehe)

or else I do the - love that type of show...then love the charactors, then love the actors bit

I don't know about the hotels but they seem to be centered aroud Heathrow Airport! You could check some near by ones for details on what the prices are then.
