Speaking about Prague. It's a bit cold (about 10 degree) and rainy here today. Hope the spring will really begin soon.

So that I don't repeat myself too much, there's an active thread over in Stargate Conventions called "Gatecon" which is an ongoing thing between Gatecon, Shortea and myself (and, of course, it's now totally off-thread) about where we all live.

I don't think you're a native Czech. I've read that somewhere, I think, a long time ago. Where are you from originally and how long have you been in the Czech Republic? I have a gorgeous book on Prague (one of those where to go, stay, do etc but with lots and lots of glossy pics) which my husband gave me a couple of years ago. Looks wonderful. I hope to get there one day (when the kids are teenagers) as part of the big Europian trip.

Where did you read it? I'm a native Czech and always was. My mom is Czech and my dad is Slovak origin. I live all my life in Prague (except one year when I lived in China).
Prague is really very beautiful, definitely worth visiting.
