Is this the old subbing vs. dubbing thing again. I just want to point out not all dubbing is bad. Ex. Spirited Away I saw both subbed and dubbed and must say the dubbed version was much better.

Yes, not all dubbing is bad; but most of what I have seen does happen to be a bad dub. Not that subs are any better, becuase whoever translates it chooses what goes up there; oftentimes the words along the bottom doesn't make sense.

You seriously have to know the language to really get what its saying...

lol, dubbing got into here a while ago so theres no point changing it. It's basically the topic now. Anyways subs are annoying since they distract you from the real action. They get in the way and make you miss key points. You might as well read a book if you want subs

I am used to subs. I like them even in regular movies because if I can't hear for reasons related to other people, then I still know what they are saying.

Subs I think should be used if its in a language no one knows. Dubbing is just ****.

T'is rare you're going to find a person who is so fluent in japanese that they can watch anime without subbs or dubbing...not to say they're not there,but its not a mass amount of the target population.

I know like maybe one person who is working towards that goal. And I know a *lot* of anime fans.

I know quite few. England isnt known for Anime.

I can think of reasons why that sucks and why it rules... but I can't decide. lol.
