Favourite Batman?

I would go with Adam West, too. Sorry. I can't take a "serious" Batman, and camp is good

Kevin Conroy from the great Batman Animated Show.

Thats the closest they have come to Batman. The old Burton movies, new ones are fine but they never captured Batman well.

There's a scene in the animated series that exemplifies Wayne's relationship with his Batman persona.

In this scene, Bruce has been subject to seemingly infallible brainwashing techniques that, of course, fail. How, we ask? Because of Wayne's indomitable will-power and strength of purpose?

No, but because "... the voice in my head kept calling me Bruce. That isn't the name I call myself."

If for no other reason than that this seemed to me to catch the character of the modern Batman perfectly, Conroy gets my vote, too.

Christian Bale. Dark Knight was the best Batman movie ever...too bad Heath Ledger won't be reprising his Joker role anytime soon :( Jack Nicholson's Joker is no comparison. Also, I don't really go for Tim Burton's style.

When I was 8 Adam West was god .
But I am getting on a bit and don`t play in a tree den that we called The Bat Cave , so I have to go with Bale
Really how brilliant is Dark Knight

Michael Keaton. After him, Adam West because...well, Adam West.

Bale's hoarse yelling is distracting, but he's not terrible.

Both of the Chritian Bale movies were very good, most of all because of the supporting actors. Liam Neeson in the first, Heath Ledger in the second.
But the best Batman of all has to be Adam West. The man pulled off his Batman persona with a paunchy gut. His supporting actors ranged from Burgess Meredith, Frank Gorshin (the best Riddler ever), Caesar Romero, Eartha Kitt, Julie Andrews, and you can't forget Van Williams and Bruce Lee doing cameos as the Green Hornet and Kato.

The initial list left out Lewis Wilson. There were two sets of serials 43 and 49 I think. Wilson was the first. But nobody votes for the serials.

Bale is the best because he was in the best movies. It was Nolan however not Bale that made him the best batman. Batman Begins is my favorite movie, even more than Dark night because it really got Batman right from the criminals perspective. The first scene where Batman takes on Falcone's goons is the movie moment I had been waiting for ever since I heard there was going to be a movie in 89. The Burton movies were fun but batman should be scary not a goofy puppet.

george clooney doing the batusi
adam west doing the batusi..
its a toss up.. but basically anyone but val kilmner. i really haven't liked val kilmner since his role in real genius (which was superb..)

I think Keaton and Bale both make good a Batman, but each a different character. Bale's version does seem more realistic, as much as you can in such a character.

Adam West lives just outside of town. *lucky face*

I dont know as I could pick one favorite Batman. I like most of them and each for different reasons.
Adam West was My First Batman, and he lives near by, so that makes him always a treat for me. (Plus his Catwoman is still my favorite Catwoman)
Michael Keaton does a great Bruce, he makes it easy to believe that he's an eccentric billionaire whose soft side has turned to vigilanty crime fighting.
Christian Bale is the most lickable (not a typo) his regular whispers would melt me into butter, but his bat-whispers make me want to catch my claws in his kevlar, if you know what I mean. I feel he breathed new life into an already iconic franchise. +Michale Cane for an Alfred *swoon*
