Favourite Episode?

my faves are Solitudes (season 1) & "Divide and Conquer" (season4). Great Sam'n'Jack episodes. What can I say, I'm a sap.

Laughed myself into histerics with "Window if Oportunity"

& quite frankly I love all episodes where Jack gets hurt (which seems to be many), RDA's great acting those scenes out.

[Highlander II]

my all-time fave ep of SG-1 - and this hasn't changed even after seeing season4 --


The Fifth Race!! -- why? b/c you get to see how wonderful an actor RDA truly is -- (and this next bit is all my opinion so don't hit me) -- any actor can generally get his/her point across w/ well-written lines, but not every actor can 'tell' you what he/she is feeling/meaning/saying w/ just his/her face and body language -- **after reading some interviews and such w/ Peter Wingfield (methos from highlander or Tanith from SG-1) i've paid a LOT more attention to the 'way' actors present themselves and less to the words -- words are important, but the 'way' they are said and the way the actor uses his/her body to show that is much more so (imo)** RDA does an EXCELLENT job in this ep of 'showing' what we're supposed to see -- it's awesome! (he does so well it almost makes you cry b/c he can't talk)

(several others of my fave actors are really good w/ 'facial/body' acting -- P. Wingfield, Robert Davi (see Profiler episode "Power Corrupts" for excellent example) and Sam Waterston (tho not to the extent of the other 2))

okay - that's enough of my little speech about actors and their abilities ----

other eps i like -- (and these are in no particular order, just the other 9 of my top 10 faves -- )

4) Crossroads
5) Exodus
6) Window of Opportunity
7) Torment of Tantalus
8) The Broca Divide
9) Message in a Bottle
10) Solitudes

others that would hit in the 11 - 20 range:

Divide and Conquer (yes, i like this one too)
Need would go in here somewhere - but there are some parts that annoy me, so it doesn't fit in the top 10 --
Learning Curve --

okay - i'm gonna stop or i'll name all the eps that i like a lot --

tho - there are 2 eps i've never seen - Prisoners and Pretense -- (screwed up the VCR programming and missed pretense recently)

and i've only seen 1/2 of Shades of Grey -- but it was getting good until the tape cut off -- ugh --

prisoners is such a brill episode! love it to pieces...dont like it as much as some eps but its gr8. i got it on tape and seen it about 10 times, aint seen pretense, but if its got something to do with narim (which i think it does), then i'll h8 it. he's such a slob

all i know of Pretense is it's something w/ removing the snake from Skaa'ra -- all i know - the Tok'ra are in it - i think -- only saw the very very beginning -- stupid vcr -(actually -stupid me for not dbl checking the program i set) --

prisoners - guess i'll have to wait for scifi to pick up sg-1 from the beginning --
