but he has to eat...junior needs nutrients from somewhere...and heck we've seen the rest of htem eat like what four times(the mre's in first commandment, jack's 'wedding cake in brief candle, the urgo food fetish, and then in upgrades... that averages out to once a year...)

Yeah...that's an easy one...

I like having a willing and capable military that will defend the country when necessary. I would hate to think of circumstances that would require me to be called to serve since (as far as I know) women cannot be drafted. But if the situation arose, I would gladly (but fearfully) do my part.

Oh I definately agree, because i for one would hate to have to kill anyone. Even in a life and death situation.

Which brings us back to how much should "T"man get paid. I guess maybe we should just give him a lot of perks of the job.
I am willing to be one of those perks.

MsGudBod: I think Teal'c should be able to visit his family as often as possible. That's the best I can think of for him.

I believe explaining the concept of " long vacations" or "extended holidays" would be about as fun as explaining the US tax code. Oh sure, he'd take a break, but he'd probably want to get back so not to miss an opportunity to fight the Goa'uld.

Perhaps its better for SG-1 to receive their recognition, accolades perks (traditional definition) and special status after leaving the SGC. It would be harder to reward them as much as they deserve while they are still in service.

That's my humble opinion (for the moment :twirl: )

Armband episode

It is rare to see the SG-1 team eat. Usually we get to see coffee, but actual food...not so often. Of course in Ergo....that was hysterical. Also, when they had the armbands on, they went out for steaks. Did T'ealc eat then? I can't remember.

I agree with the flames Coffeecup. I hate that he usually has to stay behind or if he does get to go he has to wear some stupid hat. I keep thinking about all the actual humans I have encountered with piercings and tattoos. If they don't look at them and think they are aliens, I mean how could they think My cute little golden tattooed Teal'cee is strang.

Right. He wasn't able to wear the armband because of the goa'uld he carries. Not to mention he didn't have the same increased appetite and willingness to disobey Gen. Hammond as the others.

I've been pretty busy lately. I'm taking 18 hours this semester and none of them light subjects either. I pop in every now and then usually on my favorite topic, Teal'c :blush:
How have you been? I plan to catch up on all my missed time next weekend, if i can study for the 4 tests i have next week and get all my assignments ready to turn in in advance this weekend. (praying vigorously) Maybe I'll catch you on. Till then God Bless!
