That sounds like an O'Brianism. I loved the episode with a joint mission between the DS9 folks and a Jem-Hadar squad, when the Jem-Hadar leader gave his speech "I am dead. We are all dead. We go into battle to reclaim our lives"... and then after he left, O'Brian gave one of his own that went more like this, in a lighthearted, joking tone: "I am alive and I intend to stay that way, so the rest of you better watch my back."
First Contact: William Riker: We finished our first sensor sweep of the neutral zone. Jean-Luc Picard: Oh, fascinating. 20 particles of space dust per cubic meter, 52 ultraviolet radiation spikes, and a Class II comet. Well, this is certainly worthy of our attention.
Data: Captain, I believe I speak for everyone here, sir, when I say... to hell with our orders.
Phillipa: "Data is a toaster."
The main reason why I like this quote is that I seriously suspect that it's the reason why cylons are called toasters in Moore's BSG.
